Eat Better, Feel Better

Nutrition and health are inextricably linked. Improving your diet profoundly affects how you feel, both physically and emotionally. Most people go through their lives assuming that all their chronic ailments (e.g. acid reflux, headaches, acne, joint pains, fatigue, depression, diabetes, IBS... the list is truly endless) are simply an inevitable part of life, but that isn't the case. It isn't natural to live with the amount of discomfort that most of us endure, nor is it necessary to depend so heavily on over-the-counter and prescription medications for us to function. So much of our disease is caused by the unhealthy foods we put into our bodies, and, when we nourish our bodies properly, we see these illnesses dissipate. As Hippocrates (who established the medical profession, by the way) said back in 431 B.C., "Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food."

I hope that we will all continue to educate ourselves and make better choices so that we can enjoy the greater health and happiness that ensue!
